does anyone have opinions on either of these? (stupid question, i know, we're all about opinions).
The drifter looks pretty impressive for the money. The O So Sweet isn't much more.
ready..go!

I own both drifters and honestly I would suggest both no real winner as the G-10 on one and framelock on the other even it out. Don't own an oso so I have no opinion on that blade.

I got a Drifter as an addition in a trade recently. I have the frame-lock version. It's one of the most impressive knives for the money I've handled. It came somewhat dull, but sharpened quick to a nice edge. Opens fast and smooth, no blade-play. Clip is decent and acts as a lock stop. Knife is thin yet has some heft for its size. Feels good in hand for it's size too. I wish it was a little longer overall, but it's a usable size. Made in China. Seems they can be had for about 20 bucks or so. Not much else I know of that I'd even consider for that price.

Got a g10 drifter for my dad a while back for 16 bucks brand new...he loves it...its a great little knife, it will take a pretty nice edge and hold it for a little while, solid lockup even for the thin liner lock, light weight, smooth deploying, over a great knife for 16 bucks:thumbup:

I have both, and fell in love with both right from the start. While I like the fit and feel in the hand of the drifter, I prefer the AO of the Oso Sweet.

Not to hijack the thread, but what model is that spyderco? I usually don't like their styling but that one is quite nice looking.
