CRKT EatN tool

interesting, but the bowl of the spoon doesn't look like it would hold much, and the tines don't help the capacity.

bottle opener? yawn. there are ways to open bottles without "opener" tools.
wrenches? there's a lot of metal around the hex, so the nut or bolt head better not have anything near it to get on the way.
screwdriver" hmm, might be handy, but so many other things can do the job, and SAKs or multitools usually have screwdrivers.

a Light My Fire spork is less expensive and probably a MUCH better spoon.

not impressed.

I'd second interesting. I think I would go with the Ka-bar Hobo set over that one, but it could be a good item to have in a survival kit, or on a keychain. Just in case.

It's a neat little tool, but I never found silverware to be so cumbersome I needed to compact it on a trip. I do like the LMF ones though.

For reference, we just got these in the shop the other day, and not only are they relatively thick steel, but the tines are quite pointy, and if one puts their middle finger through the hole so that the tool aligns with the arm...then you have a spork that belongs in Practical Tactical.

Reminds me of those little short travel toothbrushes.

I mean, how light are you packing...that you need to save 3 inches?

I saw one of these recently and the length is the big problem to me. You can't really get into a can of soup or an MRE with it. JMHO

It looks.. interesting, but not as useful as it sounds like it would be. It is shorter than I would like for a spoon or fork

I'm with Dizzle. A light spoon or fork weighs less than 1 oz. What a spork is, is a piss poor fork and a mediocre spoon. Never had much use for one.

I've had a hard enough time finding a spoon long enough to reach to the bottom of the Mountain House bags. So a shorter one just seems annoying to me. At that point use your fingers.

(Not me, just grabbed it off the web.) ;)

Don't look for a longer spoon..make the bag shorter..

And these Eat N Tools don't look very useful to me..

it's one of those cool ideas that should of stayed on paper or an idea.... to short to be useful and wrenches on my spork, LOL that is crazy  :D

Craziest tool I ever saw !
Whoever designed it must of gotten tired of eating dinner with a socket set.

Lexan spoon does me fine. I may have a knife on me somewhere also.:D

Seriously--they're a disguised set of knuckles. That you can sort of try to eat with. THE ZOMBIES ARE ARMED!!! :p

At least CRK&T used the right steel for the tool this time. I like some of their designs but I wish they would use some better material.
