CRKT Elishewitz Auto Conversion

Does anyone have a Columbia River Knife & Tool Elishewitz that has undergone an auto conversion? What version do you have and what is your opinion on it?

I tried it with one of the springs you need. Too bad I broke the knife trying to install it... Good thing for me that CRKT replaced it for free!

I would try it if you have a tiny bit of mechanical aptitude. Apparently I didn't.
