Hey guys and gals hows it going? Just got a quick question for youy today. I was looking at then CRKT Elishewitz Pharoah CR1130 blade and was wondering if it would make a good self defense blade. I wont be using it for work purposes just only when I am going casual or going out. It is a pretty heavy folder at 7.0 oz. Here is a pick, the blade is sexy, it is made out of AUS8A steel, what do you guys think, and how good is the maker?

have you seen the all black version of the knife?? i personally think the black version looks nicer. if automatics are legal were you live, you find the automatic version of the pharoah online.

The black blade is awesome looking also very nice.

crkt is a decent company. that knife would be good for self defense, as it comes with the crkt autolawk, which will make the knife impossible to close on accident . its big too so you can use it as an impact weapon when the knife is closed.

the crkt hissatsu folder may interest you as well if you are looking for a self defense knife.

The hissatsu is pretty menacing also, it just looks like it's going cut very deep.
