Ok so I have wanted the Eraser for a long time but it has always been too expensive I feel for what you get but i just checked (( not a paid BF Dealer )) and I can get one for around 50$, on the other hand I LOVE Matt Diskin's customs and I am also a HUGE Kershaw fan, in fact I just went back and forth for about two hours trying to decide if I wanted to put my pre-order in for the Nura 3.0 or the Strobe. So what would you do.....take the CRKT Eraser (non serrated version) or the Kershaw Matt Diskin Strobe? THANKS!!

I would get the Eraser now and the Strobe once it hits the market. I'm guessing you'll have at least 6 months before the Strobe, so why not both?

Eraser is being discontinued, Strobe doesn't even have an estimated release date yet...I'd get the Eraser, then pick up the Strobe when it comes out.

Since the Eraser is discontinued, there will be dealers that will sell if for an even lower street price.

So take the time to check out as many different dealers for the best pricing.

I doubt if you will be disappointed with the eraser, Mine stands out when I'm choosing which knife to take along for the day.

Its really hard for anyone to recommend the strobe seeing it hasnt been released at all. And like the original diskin hunter it may change from now until it gets released. If you can get a huge huge discount on the eraser then I would say get it. My biggest hang up with CRKT products is that they are pretty overpriced considering what you get. A great example of that being the new flavio ikoma designed fossil. Steel frame lock and 8cr13mov for $80 street. Most knives with CRKT fit and finish with those exact materials usually run half that. The eraser I feel would be priced right where it should be if it were $50. But only if it really is a design you care for. I do hear that the eraser flips extremely well for a washer pivot knife.

I'm gonna say get the eraser. I have one it's real nice. I saw the price drop so I ordered another one, this time the non-serrated version. I like the strobe too, so whenever that comes out I might pick one up. The Kershaw-Emerson's look nice too.
