Hey,
my CRKT Ken Onion Eros 2 was razor sharp but unfortunately the cutting edge got some usage wear with some minor nicks near the point (when it once fell app 74 cm, closed, it got damaged, the blade probably hit the housing at the ipact) so naturally I decided to sharpen it a bit, bought DMT quad kit (C/F/EF/EEF).
Since I haven't done this before (well not on that kind of knife
) I am a bit affraid I might damage the edge by using the inappropriate angle.
Would some one be so kind and give me a hint what kind of edge does this knife have:
7 - razors, blades etc
6 - fillet, paring, trimming
5 - boning, carving. chef, small folding knives
4- folding hunt/sport, large pocket knives
3 - fixed blade hunting
etc
I'm kind of deciding between 5 and 6.
