I bought this knife to replace my "everyday" knife. I did a bit of research and went on past experience, I trust CRKT, they make great solid knives, and so as soon as this firespark model was released I bought it. The blade opens quickly and smoothly, the lock is amazing as the knife CANNOT be opened without pressing the thumb-stud. The LAWKS feature is great and assures that the blade will not accidentally close. Out of the box the blade is extremely sharp and 1050 Carbon steel. As looks go it is very sleek and dangerous in a subtle way. The downside to this knife is that it is slightly awkward to close one handed but after a while its not so bad. Overall this is a great knife and it's extremely reliable and trustworthy and I highly recommend it.
