CRKT FireSafe durability?

I have a nice CRKT Vertex with the Outburst and Fire Safe thumb stud locking
system. My question - the Fire Safe seems a bit delicate to me. From those
with experience with it, how durable is this Fire Safe thumb
stud locking system with long term, high frequency usage?
