Ordered this on a whim a few days ago and just got it today. This is just such a cool little knife. Fits my hand perfectly.

Seeing how cool this knife is, I'm getting tempted to buy a real Alan Folts one. :D

I have the wharncliffe version as well; I've always liked wharncliffe and sheepsfoot blades. But this seems to be such an excellent execution of the concept. I'm hoping to use one as an EDC (I'm also experimenting with a wharncliffe Brous Silent Soldier). I've never carried a fixed blade as an EDC before. Today I'll be carrying the Minimalist on my belt to work.

I got the Lowes version a few months ago and love it. It's very sharp and acts as my jogging knife as I don't like anything in my pocket while jogging. Handy little guy.

Great little knife. Mine--wharncliffe--is currently my favorite little fixed blade. It's perfect for zipping through shrink-wrap. Edge up, spine against whatever I'm trying to cut loose, and it's like a hot knife through butter.

What exactly do you mean by "Lowe's version"? Is it something carried by the Lowe's hardware box stores; and if so how does it differ from the standard version?
