I saw this knife today in the A.G. Russell catalog, and it looks like a very useful little edc. Does anybody have one? Tell me what you think.

I have one coming, hopefully be here tommorrow. Can't wait to get my paws on it.

Mine finally showed up.Very smooth edges and the finger grooves fit my hand perfectly. The lanyard is good for pinky grasp.I've been wearing it as a necker. The sheath is nice quality that holds the knife very secure.Unlike the CRKT Triumph I had ,it would fall out at a moments notice(GONE).The edge was nice and sharp.Overall I'm pleased with it and its a keeper. It goes nice with my new CRKT Dragon.Love those wharnies.

For the price, I'll probably pick one up before long. You can't beat a small Wharnie for a practical edc. I think it would complement a multitool nicely.

CRKT did a real good job capturing the look and feel of the custom.

I REALLY like what they did with the sheath! Hopefully things will go well and I can work with them to extend the line of these knives and make a few in different configurations!

Glad you guys like it! if you have any feedback, or reviews, I woudl love to see them, as only then do I know where to make better knives!:)

I'm glad to hear that you also like the Minimalist. Where did you get yours? ;)

Hi guys,

I've always loved knives but never realized how little I knew about them until I came across this forum. I've learned quite a lot from you all, so I thought maybe I could contribute something. I recently purchased a CRKT Folts Minimalist and fell in love with it the moment I removed it from the box. I use this knife as one of my EDC blades, but I just can not get used to neck carry. So after some thought I came up with a way to carry the Minimalist inverted on a belt. The buckle and faux leather straps are part of a cheap two piece keyring I picked up for around $4. It's held in place with a bit of gutted 550 cord as that was just what I had lying around. It's a bit rough, but it works pretty well. Sorry for the picture quality. And yes, I removed the lanyard from the end. Just a matter of personal preference.

I absolutely love this knife!

I own several different neck knives, but never found the "one" Each one was close, but no cigar.

Then I handled this little gem at the A.G. Russell knife show and just fell in love with it!

CRKT really nailed it with this one, from the sheath, to the micarta handles, to the overall shape and feel of the blade.

There is honestly nothing I would change on this knife! (except maybe some bright blue g10 scales!! Hint, hint, CRKT!)

Beautiful knife Mr. Folts!

I bought this custom directly from Alan. It's an incredible knife with perfect fit and finish. It is also an incredible cutter. It fits the hand so well that it's easy to cut with precision.

I had an original Minimalist, but my daughter-in-law took it away from me, and carries it when she runs. She is the Bronze medalist in her weight class in the World Games Muay Thai in 2022, so I just let her have it. Lol
