My cousin presented me yesterday with a Barry Gallagher designed, CRKT model "Rave". I am quite impressed with this little folder. It is an assisted opener that can truly be used with one hand--unlike some other AO's.
Steel used is 8Cr14MoV and the scales are black and gray linen Micarta. Beautiful design and perfect size for EDC.
I'm told it is reasonably priced too.
I did have to sharpen it as it did not come very sharp. And it is recommended to put a drop of Break Free on the pivot points and at the tip of the Outburst spring. I did that and the operation smoothed out nicely.
I believe I will enjoying carrying this Gallagher designed "Rave".
