I just Purchased a CRKT Lightfoot folder for $58.00.
It seems like it is a very strong knife. Blade is AUS8A stainless.
I have knives made of this steel and find they hold an edge better than 440A
or 440C.
Has anyone out there tested this particular knife?
And if so how did it hold up?

Hows the lock up on this one, I'd like to give this knife a beating it my bodyshop, I really like the looks of this one and for the price I think its a sweet blade.

Well, I did the old spine wack and it held up to that.
Had not been able to cut anything with it.
It did however take a good blade.

I have had mine for three years and it is the only crkt I carry on a regular basis. It takes a hell of an edge and for the price holds the edge well. The knife is tough the clip holds well and the grip is comfortable with tight lock up. The only two things I don't like about it. Its thick in the picket and pretty heavy.

All of what you are saying bro is true. exspecially about the thickness of the
frame. It seems that Mr. Lightfoot didn't give it to much thought.
