I have an ABC Operator's model, and I've used it off-and-on in outdoors-type roles. It's a nice knife overall. the blade is nice and thick, with a modified spearpoint / tanto profile, so it has decent durability. It takes a nice edge and holds it well, although the thickness of the blade makes it unsuitable for some cutting activities. The strong tip and the profile would make it a reasonable stabber if you're thinking of using it as a defensive backup, although without a guard I would worry about slippage. It's lightweight, and it has a comfortable grip. In the roles that I've used it in, (mostly as a utility knife around camp and while fishing), I've found the serrations and the modified spearpoint top to be quite useful.
My only real concern with the knife (aside from the cutting difficulties associated with such a thick blade) is belt clip on the sheath, which is next to useless, particularly if you've adjusted it for a tighter draw. The metal on the clip is just too flimsy, and it bends far too easily. If you're going to attach it to a vest or a belt with straps, then there won't be a problem.
All things considered, I've been happy with this blade.
Cheers,
