CRKT Hawg as a skinner?

So I am looking to attach a skinner onto the front of my MMHW white river bowie sheath that I ordered (it hasn't come yet),
Pictured here:

and i was thinking maybe the new CRKT hawg might be a good skinner to go with it :

as my survival set.....

should I be looking for a different knife.



I am basically looking for a good FLAT no handle(or extremely flat handle) skinner with a kydex sheath to strap to the front of my bowie that will be coming.

yay or nay?

According to the Sales pitch, the Hawg is suppose to be a good little skinner, I have one that I put in one of my survival kits because it is small and flat so it makes a good Kit knife.
