I picked up a CRKT Heiho on Friday and spent the weekend trying to work through the very tough detent with no luck. I'm not eager to wait two weeks for CRKT to fix it, so I'm looking for information on what's 'correct' on this knife as far as:
-detent ball projection
-lockbar spring (how far out of plane should the bar be when the liner is out of the knife?)
I've read various posts around the web and watched videos about detent ball issues and installation. I'd like to try putting the knife into its proper specs before I do anything like breaking the edge of the detent hole to fix this issue. I'd hate to end up with looseness in the closed position.
