CRKT Hi Jinx Question

Hello all!

Please forgive me as I didn't see a CRKT specific forum (if there is, I apologize), but given that the Hi Jinx is made by Lionsteel, I hope this section will allow my question.

Anyways, I recently sold a Hi Jinx off a the "big" auction place that all of you are familiar with (not a appraisal post which is against the rules). I purchased the knife brand new, and kept it away for the last year and a half. I did handle it when I first received, and I noticed that the frame lock was gritty (which I listed in the posting) upon folding the knifeand never thought anymore of it. Fast forward today, the knife sold and I wanted to follow up with the buyer to make sure everything is okay, however he said that the buyer just informed me today, that there is a chip on the blade by the frame lock.

Can anyone who owns one verify if this chip is normal, perhaps for the detent ball? I attached the picture that the buyer sent to me.

Thanks in advance!

That's not normal. Also, you cannot send it back to CRKT for a new one because they don't have any in stock.

Without a steel lock bar insert I found the lock sticky.
