CRKT Hissatsu fixed blade. I am ready to try adding Ray Skin or other wrap.

I am really tired of the rubbery synthetic material on my Hissatsu grip. Not scales since it can't be removed without damage. I am thinking of either wrapping some Ray Skin over it or else some other type of wrap. Has anyone tried this? If so, how did it turn out for you?

I have a Hissatsu, but never tried any customization. I think the handle is pretty decent. It has decent grip, and you can easily identify which way the edge is facnig in the dark. The only thing I would change about the knife is add a small guard to stop yoru hand from potentially sliding forward. Post pics of any improovements you make, I'd be interested in seeing them.
