CRKT Hissatsu: Hand polished blade

Well, I decided that I would make my CRKT Hissatsu folder a little more unique. The black blade coating is ok, but I genrally prefer uncoated blades. I grabbed some 220 grit sandpaper and sanded down the finish. Then, I polished the blade a bit by wet sanding followed by applying some Noxon 7 metal polish. So far, I like how its turned out. I have to buy some more fine sand paper and polish it even more since it still has a slight scratch pattern to the finish. Let me know what you guys think and if there are any better ways to get a nice high polish. I don't want mirror polished but I would like it a bit shinier. Thanks.

*UPDATE*: Used some finer grit sandpaper and polished the backspacer to match the blade.

looks great bro, i got some 2000 grit if you want a piece sometime, haha! make it look chromed

320 grit then directly to something much finer. Not sure if Mother's Mag Polish would shine it up a lot though.

Awesome! I have always thought those would be better without the black blade.

Was it hard to put back together?

Not really. Its pretty straight forward construction. as long as you put the correct washer on the correct side of the blade (theyre different sizes and material) it just a matter of screwing it back together. And thanks for the tips Noctis.
