I didnt care to much for the symbols in the G10 handles or the writing on the blade. So I took care of it, I think it's better now. Sorry about the crappy cell pics.

Nice job! I always liked the looks of this knife, but never considered buying one because of the characters/writing.

Great job! Looks almost like a Ferkked Emerson.

i recieved mine today. now i really like this knife, its very well made and it really doesnt cost much. however, its far from perfect.

i have a two problems with it. one is that its even harder to open than the original hissatsu. hopeful i can break it in, but the thumbplate is very close to the handle and its already pretty stiff to open. the second problem is the lawks system is not an auto lawks, it is a manual one and its so stiff to engage it makes it nearly pointless for this knife. i would have to really use both hands to get the manual lawks in place, might just be mine.

other than that, the fit and finish is excellent considering i paid less than 50 shipped for the knife. the knife is smalller, but it feels pretty solid, there is some heft to it. the handle itself is rael nice, its that laminated g10 it think, the rael smooth and shiny type you find on the benchmade dejavoo handle. its very smooth. i didnt like the japanese lettering on the knife when i saw the pics online, but its actually not that bad at all when you see it in person. the handle is very dark so the lettering isnt that obvious. the assisted opening bar can be removed, i think that may make the knife mich easier to open

overall its a pretty good knife for a low price if you can get over its minor flaws. real fun to just handle and play with, very well made.

I hate the assisted opening mechanism in folders. I removed the bar from my Hissatsu 2. It is somewhat of a pain to get out without disassembly though. I didn't enjoy the experience!!! It's not a bad folder but I don't think the quality is quite as good as the Taiwan made original larger Hissatsu folder.

I removed the AO from my ZT0300. Much better with a wave.

What?? Are you saying that the Hissatsu 2/Heiho is made in China?:(

If so, then I might buy its big brother. I was debating which one to get for awhile, because I've found both for around $50 (including shipping) each
