Anyone have one? Are they worth the money? Anyone carry one daily? Are they made in Japan? How's the steel?

Also, post some pictures.

Yes, Yes, No, except the folder, no, holds an edge fine. I have the smaller and larger folders, as well as fiked blade. Used the folders a bit with great results. The fixed blade is sharp as shiz, but as of yet is unused and will stay that way unless....... well, it has only 1 purpose.

I had one, for me the handle was all wrong. It was okay and slashed like a monster.

If you like the style of the folder also look at the little brother Hehio aka Hissatsu 2. A good blade that is of the similar style and is a bit higher end and higher price (about $100) look at the Boker Kwaiken, I like the looks of the Kwaiken better myself. As for the fixed blade you may also want to look at the SOG Tsunami (if it is still being made), or the Cold Steel recon tanto.

When you guys say the Hissatsu is sharp, do you mean shaving sharp out of the box ?

The fixed blade will shave hairs off the arm, but I wouldn't go as far as say that you can actually shave your face with it.

owned several hissatsu and hei ho... remove the outburst assist torsion bar and they are buttery smooth to deploy :)
great knives but in the end they werent my thing and were promptly sold shortly after i discovered the fact.
