I'm not a big fan of Columbia River knives, especially the M14/16. I personally believe that our troops should carry something more dependable with better steel. However, I am biased because I'm a fan of Spydercos and Benchmade; I digress.
When the Hissatsu first came out, it caught my eye. It looked like a mean variation of the tanto with a sleeker curve to the blade's edge. I see it's made out of 440A, which isn't so bad compared to 1.146 or whatever it is, or AUS-4. Does anybody have one or have an opinion? For $40, it seems like a very nice knife to carry in a shoulder rig or anything else for self defense in the wilderness. Thanks for the help and opinions. God bless you and America.
