I saw this knife today at a shop & it looked & felt good - but I know nothing of this knife design. Are these knives any good? Durable? etc....

CRKT is a great company but the Hissatsu seems to be a knife that is primarily designed for self defense. I think that it would be less than ideal as an EDC.

Its good for stabbing large human-shaped chunks of meat. an occasional slashing of the former wouldn't be out of the question either.

About worthless for EDC, utility, or Bushcraft purposes im afraid.

Very similar to the lock back- Boker, Jim Wagner reality based blade. As far as design of it's blade and intended use. Even if CRKT is not as up front about it as Boker.

rbb folder is good for edc even if the tip is so agressive. maybe a litlle to big, but it has a clip which hide the knife deep in the pocket. and cuts VERY well.
