Wanted to give a big thumbs up for this personal protection blade, first off it looks great. For this design I believe the blade thickness is perfect, beefy enough to make for a strong design yet thin enough to slice tissue well; the balance is great (an often underrated quality in a good knife). The rubber grip, though very nicely done is not as good a quality as Cold Steel imo, which is just soft enough to mold in your hand slightly with positive grip-but none the less this handle is well done; the width of the knife and the sheath is smaller than appears in pictures but all the better. The tip of the blade design makes this knife par excellence as far as a thrusting weapon.
Just put an edge on the blade (you will need to work the edge a bit), takes an edge reasonably well, but of course sharpening a blade is a labor of love and requires some time to perfect the edge (I also think that most steels will take a very good edge with proper work), a real bargain for $50 on ebay (new)

The Hissatsu looks like it could be quite a slasher and stabber---I wish Spyderco made something like it in CPM D2 and G10.

Congratulations on your knife. :)
