Anyone seen or held the new Kenion Onion Eros. 3" blade, all titanium handle. This is the lighest and smoothest opening lock liner I have ever handled with the exception a few customs.

Take a look if you can find one. The price is still high. Your comments are appreciated.

Thanks.

It is a pretty slick little knife. I didn't really like the Ripple when I first got it and ended up selling it, but I picked up an Eros on the cheap and I ended up keeping it. It's nice and light.. I mean really light! I barely even notice it in my hand. This knife is actually a framelock and it locks up nice and tight. There is the slightest bit of side to side play, but it's barely noticeable. The blade is sharp and extremely pointy. I'm not really fond of the Acuto+ steel. The clip is not my favorite and it's tip down only. :thumbdn: The flipping action is the saving grace. The IKBS is nice and smooth even with such a light blade. It flips open and locks up each time and every time without fail. If you want a nice gentleman's knife with IKBS and splinter picker blade then look no further.

I just got one the other day and I agree that it is a fine, very light, light duty EDC. The build quality is spot on too. I bought it specifically to have a very light EDC option. Nothing else really. The jewel like appearance is nice too. The clip is a little adorned which is fine by me considering the use I have intended for it. I'm going to shoot some pictures of it next to a few common folders for everyone's viewing soon. It's not cheap for a CRKT but it's a fine, well built, light duty knife that that isn;t so small it won't fit your hand. If someone is looking for a super light, smaller EDC for some occasions, this will fill the bill without having to buy a mini-folder. The knife, although significantly less than 2 ounces, still has good handle and blade length but feels like you aren't carrying anything while in your pocket.

Kudos to CRKT and Ken Onion. This is my first CRKT in 3 years because of some past bad experiences with some CRKT knives. I was reluctant to pull the trigger but I'm glad I did now. It's large enough to use and grip with large hands, has a useful blade profile for light duty EDC purposes and weighs in like a feather. Nice!

I was playing with a Ripple at my local knife mongers today. One word - precision. The thing is so smooth and light and precise. NO blade wobble. No provision for left-handers though. Too bad I'm into fixed and slip joints or I probably would be ordering one.
