Just got the CRKT Ken Onion Redemption. I notice it says "First Production"...do they all
say that since this is a NEW knife, or is mine some limited edition that is more valuable then
the standard Redemption..?

The whole shape and design. Plus it looks like a nightmare to sharpen. I had a Kershaw Outcast (another Ken Onion design) and sold it because I thought it was ugly, but the one you got is even worse. Yikes.

Of course, this is just one man's opinion.

No problem - Everyone is entitled to their opinion - has me curious now, starting another topic in the same thread - what do others think about the Redemption..?

The profile of this knife is not so handsome as some of the other onion designs indeed.... :)

This one reminds me of a Kit Rae fantasy knife. If you got this to use in the woods, let us know how it functions as a chopper. It looks like it would stab and penetrate like a dagger (large fighter?). Cool find.

If you ask me it looks they kinda upsized one of those Shun Ken Onion kitchen knives and made it even more recurved.
I know Ken Onion is known for his organic designs and amazing ergonomic handles, but that one looks like it would be a great discomfort, how is it for you?
Liking this direction how-you-say CRKT is going, though they have had a bunch of gems over the years like their Apache and that collaboration with G&G Hawk.
They've had a lot of great stuff over the years, just they've never been really all well known, people seem to only really remember their stranger designs.
For example, I bet most of the people didn't know they have a knife with CPM-154, the M16-40A.

I've looked at this one as well. Wondering if there are any thoughts to share, or if this knife just got bypassed by most of the crowd...
