Does any one know if there is someone out there that makes a kydex/concealex sheath for the CRKT KFF? Reason I ask is that I have one with zytel handles and the pocket clip came out. The screws stripped right out of it. This is a favorite knife of mine and I no longer carry it, due to no clip. The kind of sheath I was looking for is similar to the one for the Rekat Pocket Hobbit. If there is such an animal I would be interested. Thanks.

Have one from Normark, and it's great.
The clip that he makes makes it a regular sheath, an IWB sheath, horizontal, crossdraw, inverted, small of the back...
And I was plenty surprised that it was molded to the uncanny likeness of the blade itself.
You'd be satisfied, and if you're not, he'll make it so that you'll be satisfied.

never have been able to figure why such a good little knife comes w/such CRUMMY CHEAP CHEESY looking sheaths?? camilus arc lites, selling for $19.95, have a better sheath imho. but the knife rocks, a little heavy, but an accurate rendition of the polkawski knife. so what does CRKT do, they have an excellent knife, so what to do?? oh yeah, lets throw in not one but two crummy useless sheaths instead of one decent one, yeah that makes lotsa sense, lets do it!!

get a normark or river city sheath, i got the normark, it rocks, imho CRKT should include one (1) normark (or equivalent) sheath vs two (2) useless %&*$#@ up ones.

just my .o2 worth

I concur wholeheartedly. I have several CRKT Companions. I have been underwhelmed concerning the excuses for sheaths.
Great knife. Great bang for the buck IMHO.

Too bad they don't sell the Companion ala carte - so that you can avoid those sheaths.

Mike Sastre sells the Companion knife new, already configured with one of his sheaths, along with the two that come with the knife. One stop shopping and you save on the shipping charge. You also don't have to send the knife out once you get it, if bought elsewhere.

Ok SIFU1A - but Interloper was asking about the KFF, not the Companion. I'd also recommend the two makers mentioned - give one or both an e-mail and see what you get back. I'm shopping for a sheath for my Fallkniven F1 myself and have had very good experiences with Normark. I'd also recommend the J-clip/G-clip belt attatchment as opposed to the Tek-Lok which is cool, but can't do In-Waist-Band style carry.

Cheers

Aahhh! Love that Fallkniven .... :)

Interloper,

Before the Companion came out, I set the KFF up for a blade deployed Drawpoint (reverse grip) sheath for a number of people who wanted to carry it that way. It could also be set up for Appendix carry. In addition, I have done numerous breakfronts (HD) for the REKAT Pocket Hobbit as the factory supplied sheath was inconsistant in retention, and the PH could be inadvertantly knocked out of the sheath. A breakfront can be done for the KFF, but how it deploys will be dependent on the LAWKS. Contact me if you are interested.
