I have purchased and used a CRKT LUS 02 (Lightfoot)and have found it to be an excellent value for the money. I bought 2 others for friends. I recently obtained a large Kasper with plain blade that is really strong but a little too heavy. Cuts large cardboard like butter! What other experiences have you had with these or other CRKT products?

I have two stifKiss ( stifkisses? ): one is a semiserrated tanto, the other is a plain mdp: sheats are cheap and a little too bulky for neck carry, but the knives are very good : razor sharp out of the box and durable enough( i know that AUS 6 is not the best steel for edge retention, but i don't mind resharpen my knives often). Another crkt i have is a mirage, old version (polished blade) . thr linerlock looks a little bit skinny, but so far i have no negative remarks about the lockup.
All in all i have to say that crkt knives are a very good value for money .

I've got a large and small (my every day carry) CRKT/KFF. I was amazed by the price, and thrilled by the quality of the knives. If there's a better knife value out there, I haven't seen it?

I have the whole M-16 line, working on Kaspers and Point Guards, have an LUS01.
I whole-heartily agree with PhIL, if there is a better knife at these prices I haven't heard of it let alone seen it

I have 2 large, and one small, plain-edged KFFs. I am more than pleased with them. I think I MAY eventually pony up for a Sebenza, but these will do for now.

I'll throw my two cents in too, in favor of CRKT, I have two of the M-16 series knives. They have both been used and carried alot and I'm more than happy with them. Outstanding knives for the money.. they'd be worth it at twice the price.

I have a KISS CLASSIC that I use as a money clip. VERY nice blade and super sharp. People almost never pick up on the fact it's a knife!

Great piece for the money!

I have several and love them. The quality is excellent, especially for the price.

Sure, they could use (and I hesitate to use these words) "higher quality materials", but hey, their awesome for the price.

I'd like to see the main, reasonably priced, working/carry knives and a higher priced, premium line with versions having, say . . . Satin blades, Micarta scales, ect.

I'd have to say the KFF is truly my favorite of the CRK&T line, but that's just until the CRK&T/Ryan model Seven.

And MSRP is going to be $59.95!!!

CRKT's are great knives irregardless of how inexpensive they are. They are built really well, have respected knife designers licensing their designs to CRKT, but best of all their "MADE IN TAIWAN" knives do not suffer from those manufacture inconsistencies which seem to plague more "upscale" companies.

Personally, my favorite are the KISS knives. Yes, I know they are a bit hazardous with a lack of external grips, and no secondary lock. To me, that's the beauty of this simple knife. It's minimalist art gone dangerous! The KISS never fails to draw a "Wow! Cool knife!" to anyone with a shred of machismo in his/her blood.

My first KISS was a folding tanto which I eventually gave away to a firefighter buddy. More on this later...

I also purchased a similar KISS knife for my friend's birthday. He's a martial artist who loves weapons, and was blown away by this knife.

I then bought a tanto STIFF KISS which I later gave to another friend who loves anything lethal. He thinks the knife is so well constructed/balanced that it can double for a throwing knife. He's also a professional chef and thinks it makes a cool paring knife.

...back to my firefighter buddy. The KISS proved itself at an accident site. Apparently, the firefighters were trying to free an accident victim from their seatbelt. The firefighter in charge called for some snips to cut the seatbelt. Apparently my buddy took out the little folding KISS tanto I gave him and sliced through the steel-fiber reinforced seatbelt like "butta". How's that for a testimonial! BTW, that particular KISS knife had half serrations. Just to squelch the snobbery against those who think serrations have no purpose on a sport knife.

I only have one CRKT knife at the moment. My spearpoint SAMPSON KISS which isn't going anywhere. It's all mine!
