A firend of mine got a CRKT knife for Christmas.....from his pastor.

A very impressive knife to be sure. I have a couple of CRKT's, and have always been very impressed with their quality.....and their prices. :D

Check out my friend's new CRKT below:

My all time favorite (though not current) EDC is a CRKT M16-03Z. I have probably four more CRKTs currently (M16s, PECK, neck knife) and have had maybe five more (M16s, Plan B, Bwana folder, KISS) that have since been sold/traded/given away. Overall, they are good knives, esp at discounted prices. I noticed that at Gander Mountain, the prices are WAY more than I've ever paid... three to four times as much in a couple instances.

Only complaint I have is on my two current M16s, the liners are more prone to surface rusting than any other 'stainless' knives I've ever carried though that is easily fixed.

The Ryan Plan B is a great budget small SD fixed blade.
I also like the Ed Halligan KISS fixed blades but they dont seem to be making them anymore. I have gotten some rust spots on these two but they were easily removed and keeping the knife oiled seems to have kept the rust away.
I have a M16 with carbon fiber handles which I dont use anywhere near enough to be able to comment on its durabilty.
Nice pastor, what denomination I wonder?

I was kind of wondering the same thing!

Maybe it's time I start checking out the "church" thing. Think an agnostic would put them off? ;)
