CRKT Drifter. You can go with either the G10 version or the stainless framelock version. Both of them are nice sub-$20 EDC knives...

The smaller M16 series seems pretty popular. For the money, they're decent knives.

I've got the CRKT Fulcrum which isn't the greatest knife going around but is pretty cool to open and can be very ammusing watching your mates try to open it.

The CRKT Centofante Tribute is worth a look. I dig mine... :thumbup:
I have the Drifter as my backup/beater/loaner EDC, and I beat the everliving sh*t out of it, fantastic knife! Will shave hair when sharpened on the Sharpmaker.
I also had the M16-01Z, was a great knife until I lost it!
I also have the M21-02G, nice thick blade, but I had problems with the edge chipping... really started to look like it was a serrated edge. I took the chips out with a cheap Gerber pull-through sharpener (didn't have Sharpmaker), and I'm going to fix it with the diamond stones when I get them.

Might want to check out the Ignitor T...good lock up and lighten fast open...

The minimalist fixed blade series (shown compared with a BK-11 for scale) is a nice alternative to folders and can be carried easily in a pants pocket in addition to its intended place around the neck or tucked into a boot. The wharncliffe blade is especially handy for detailed incising.
The full tang handle has 3 deep choils and is meant to index into a mid-finger grip for a precise hold and the micarta scales and zytel sheath add to its utility and eye appeal. The entire 3 piece series can be had for around $60 at Amazon and gives you a bit of choice for your primary or backup blade. At 1.6 ounces, you'll have trouble remembering you're wearing it around your neck.

LOVE the drifer for EDC. Get the g10 version! Also look at the Ripple, great EDC knife for the cash.
Another blade I just got from my little brother for my birthday was the CRKT premonition! for 22$ give or take its an amzing value and a very pretty looking blade. Its got blue anodized liners and clip and has a flipper for a fast deployment. I got the blade blade with serrations but I'd rather have the satin with a plain edge. CRKT is a brand that never gets spoken of and is really not a bad brand!
