Just a heads up to anyone contemplating ordering this knife - it's one heavy sumbitch. I just recieved mine and was totally surprised. It's listed at 7.7 oz, but feels much heavier. All the weight is in the handle, which is about half an inch thick! That's the big, heavy surprise. None of the pictures I've seen on the web really show this, so be aware. Otherwise, it's a nicely made knife with a fairly evenly ground edge, not dull but not shaving sharp, ergonomic handle shape and with a bit of rattle in the kydex sheath. I'm already thinking about grinding down the handle to about half its present width, which will entail refinishing and resheathing it.

From the CRKT site"- The handle is wide to give a secure grip, and is contoured to fit the hand

Suggest you use if for a while, try it with wet/slippery hands and also with gloves before you do any mods.

Don't see to many single piece forged knives. Except for its black finish this is a knife I would be interested in getting - please give us a review

What size are your hands? How does the blade fit in your hands? Do you have the Hammond ABC from CRKT? Or a similar knife to compare it to.
Thanks
T
ps. I guess I could have just asked for a review like Antonio. Antonio smart, me dumb.
