CRKT Kommer Signature Kilbuck Hunter

I just picked up a CRKT Kommer Signature Kilbuck Hunter (supposed to be 1.4116, HRC steel). I have not heard of this steel before and was curious what anyone might know about this knife or steel.

I don't know much about the steel other than what I have read in magazine articles...most notably in the latest knives illustrated. I do have the knife and like it quite a bit. I haven't used it much, but it appears to hold an edge just fine so far, and feels good in my hand.
