CRKT large Kasper FF info.......

hey a little info ya might find usefull w/all the buzz about the pro KFF coming out - i am in the process of exchanging a zytel KFF because of lock problems, and contacted CRKT to seeif, if i would wait, pay extra, etc could i get the pro model instead of the zytel? talked to c trujillo, who said yes i could, BUT the large models will not be available for a month or MORE - i dont mind waiting, think its worth it, and really think its cool that CRKT would let me do that - made my day(week)- so the answer to the question of 'when are the KFF pro large models gonna be around'? is a month or more, according to CRKT - hope this info helps.....i just finished talking to them....

I want it to be AUS 8 but I have not found any info that says it is AUS8. According to 1sks and knifecenter it is AUS 6, not AUS 8.

i've already seen the ads from the variuos sites - you are correct they all say 6, but the 1 guy said 8 - so whos right? i dunno, i ordered 1 last week and will post what steel it is, i guess if its marked one way or the other?!?!?! ya would think they would, but i dont recall if the KFF i sent in was marked w/steel type or not.....i just looked and the wifes is not marked on the blade - i will EM CRKT and see what the guy i talked to says and post - i HOPE its 8, but.....

Update: CRKT emailed me and the Professional is AUS 8. This is great news!
