A buddy at work came up too me and whipped out a knife(didn't know he would own a knife) and asks if I know what is causing his knife to be so sloppy and not close properly. Now granted he acquired it when random ABC Warehouse delivery man left it at his place so its definitely seen abuse.. But I told him I'd see if I can make it work better.. Any info or help would be appreciated, the main issue is the lock isn't coming over far enough to hold the blade in place(open) and the spring feels whopped out, it is savable I was gonna start by taking apart and cleaning but I've never really attempted anything of the sort. Thanks

I bet just dissassemly and a good cleaning will bring it back to working order. If it doesn't, while disassembled you can bend the liner lock over to the right a little bit so that it will engage the blade again.

Or just gift him a budget Kershaw.

Welp, believe it or not jeffsenpai you were correct, took it apart clean it put a drop of lube on it and cleaned and sharpened it for him... I actually liked it enough and don't have anything like it in my collection so I offered too trade him for a extra Kershaw I had laying in the box brand new and he said cool. so shes mine now hehe don't know much about it but its my first ckrt
