Just got a crkt m16 mil model. When I lock it open with a wrist flick it takes a lot of pressure to unlock. Is this normal? When I ease it open its easy to unlock.Suggestions?

When you open with a flick, the blade tends to "over travel" slightly, depending on the force of your flick. (That sounds dirty for some reason.) Anyway, the linerlock wedges itself into position while the blade is in its "over travel" position. You'll notice that there is a slight bevel to the blade in the area in contact with the linerlock; that bevel is to compensate for wear over time, so that your blade continues to lock up solid even through years of use. What your experiencing is a linerlock lock jammed too tightly into that bevel. If you must flick, consider releasing some tension on the blade pivot screw, and thereby not flicking so hard.

That could happen if you flick it really hard.
Just don't flick it as hard and it'll probably fine

I really wanted to buy one of the red ones in g-10, but I hate serrated edges=-/
