For the last 2 months or so I've been carrying & using a Kit Carson M-18 by Columbia River Knife & Tool. I am impressed with the quality and design of this knife. I have probably 40 or so folders of different designs and various manufactuers that I can judge against. It's a big knife, but I like big folders, very sturdy, designed well, takes a scary sharp edge and holds it reasonably well and sharpens quite easy. It's smooth as glass too, in it's operation. In my opinion you can do a whole lot worse than this in a pocket knife for much more money. I think it's a bargain in a big way!! The product for the money that CRKT is putting out is pretty darn good. Just an opinion and looking for others that are impressed with CRKT - especially the M-18. Best regards and have a great day.

I've had an M16 04 for about 3 years now and have to say it is an excellent knife. Very smooth yet very solid. It is easy to sharpen and holds an edge as well as I expect it too. It has become the knife I always reach for as far as an edc is concerned.

The M18 is indeed nice. Mine came razor sharp out of the box and I like the blade shape. I do wish that there were G10 inserts on both sides. I found the clip-side handle to be a bit too slippery.
