CRKT M1 Clip Stupidity!

I just got one this morning and I can't put it down. This is one WELL built stout bladed knife. I can't wait to punish it! The only thing that left me a little miffed was the fact that I can't carry it tip in my right pocket, only tip up in the left pocket. I think that is very stupid IMO. What do you guys think?

I have an M1 and carry it tip up RH pocket. Mine came with 2 clips, spare screws and an allen wrench sealed in plastic. If yours only came with one clip return it to where you purchased it and see if they'll swap another one with it. If not, give CRKT a call and I'm sure they'll send one out to you.

Mine has two clips and spare screws, but it's the same clip. Is one of yours a different clip? The holes don't line up with mine. Now you got me wondering.

The clips should mirror each other in shape and profile. If the clip on the knife is the same as the one in the package then you've got all the right to return it for a replacement.

That's exactly what I figured. I tried both and knew something was off. I don't want to return it for such a minor issue, do you think CRKT will send me another if I call? I do like this knife a lot though. The ergonomics are perfect for my hand too.

I'm sure they would. Give em a call and let them know that Quality Control slipped you the wrong clip. I'm sure it's happened at least once before. CRKT has a pretty good reputation when it comes to customer service. If you do a search for CRKT Customer Service, there are several threads you can browse. Also, check in the exchange forum in "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly". If I'm right there's a current thread about them as well. Good luck
