Anyone have or handled the CRKT greg lightfoot M1? I like the design and blade shape but I've never put my hands on one. How are the linerlocks on CRKT? are they paper thin or do they have a good standup linerlock? What's the the LAWKS system, is it a gimmick or a genuine saftey feature?

The M1 is a solid knife. I can't remember what the liners looked like but it feels pretty hefty. The LAWKS works great on all of the knives that I have even though I rarely feel the need to use it.

I own one. It's a bit thick to carry in a pocket, but boy does it feel right in your hand, regardless of grip position! Ever since I read A.E.'s article on blade flipping (or wrist flicking), I haven't utilized the "Flipper' but it makes an excellent guard when open. I woud say this is the knife in my bag when I'm hiking (and also when I'm on the couch watching T.V.).
