I would like to buy the m16 13sf for every day carry but I've seen it only on the web ... is there someone that can give me an advise?

I think these are ok knives for the money. The addional guard might be a little more bulky in the pocket but if I remember correctly it can also be used as a 'wave' feature to open the knife as it is coming out of you pocket. An ok grade of steel (AUS8) for the blade. Some reports of the liner locks failing...might want the 'autoLAWKs' feature on this knife. The coated blade is a plus from a corrosion stand point. Hope this helps.

These knives are okay, but I've been down on CRKT lately for a number of reasons.

The Good:

* Knife opens very quickly with flipper feature
* Securely locks with Auto LAWKS
* Blade made of AUS8, which sharpens easily, good edge retention
* Full hilt makes knife secure to hold

The Bad:

* Blade ground on left side, making some cutting jobs difficult for right-handers
* Knife a bit on the small side
* Serrations tend to be a bit rough (bumpy)

All in all, I would go with the CRKT M21-02 or the M21-04 (below, right), with my preference being the latter.

Its a overall great knife for the money, it wont hurt to get it i suppose. Check out the exchange forum, they just might be selling it for cheap

the best CRKT M16's are the ti models, a little higher $ but a lot better steel, & ti handles, i also think the F&F is a little better on them vs the std FRN & aluminum handle M16s.

all of them are "ok" imho, not the best/not the worst.

I wouldn't recommend this knife if you plan to do things like cutting wood shavings with it. Like confederate said, the left handed grind makes that a difficult task. It's generally good for various other cutting tasks though.

edit: oh yeah, and the black blade, tanto point, serrations, and full guard doesn't sit too well with sheeple either - something to consider if you want this for edc
