Alright guys, i recently lost the knife i have carried for about 1.5 yr (another m16, lower quality than the new one)

I originally didn't want to get it after messing with one with the autolawks, but after messing with the new one I dont mind it

anyways, i havent been able to put any use on it yet, but first impression are good, it cut through seran wrap without draggign a bunch with it, so the factory edge was decent

the knife feels good in my hand, the titanium handles on it are much thinner than the the zytel that i had before, but it is comfortable

the lock works well and holds up, i opened and closed the knife all during a movie and now have muscle memory for the autolawks

anyways, that is all i have so far, i will add more to this as i use the knife

if anyone has anything else to say review wise on this knife, please fell free to add to this

If you still have an issue with the Autolawks system, its relatively easy to disable.

What you do after disassembling your knife is to just pull the little spring thing that is on the autolawks side of the knife, and then you can remove the little lever if you don't want it in there anymore, since it will rattle. You might want to remember how to put the spring back in though, if you ever want the autolawks back.

Hope this helps.

thanks for the advice man, i think i will just keep it for now, for the added safety, i may take it out sooner or later though

This is one of the really popular knives in the military. They sell like hotcates in the P X. The team I trained last month from 12th Group were all carrying them. Most had others also but this one is light and can go in the front of a plate carrier with ease.
