I recently picked up a NIB CRKT M16-13Z (Zytel, spear point, semi-serrated) off Ebay.

My question: Is this knife supposed to be chisel ground or do I have a QC failure?

The "Serration side" of the blade has a well-executed 1/32" edge grind, but the other side has only 1/32" strip of less-bead-blasted metal with a 1/64" bright edge.

The edge is tolerable for a production knife, but I want to know whether I should be reprofiling or merely touching up what I already have.

ihave the M16-13T, and it is what i call chisel grind, i think CRKT calls it something else, but, its a CG to me, sharpen it like an emerson and it will work fine.
