Im thinking about buying a CRKT M16 14SFA.Any reviews or suggestions about the knife?? Whats the difference between the 14SFA and the 14SF. Any advice would help.
Thanks,
Mark

I have the M16-14SFA, and at the time I bought it the M16-14SF was not available. The SF was a few dollars more, why....I don't know because the specs appeared to be identical. As previously mentioned, for about $50.00 it's a decent investment.
And, and I have never had a liner lock failure with my CRKT's, and I have about 12 of them, M16's & M21's. I'm not one of those who look for liner failures by throwing at walls, chopping trees, prying paint cans, puncturing car doors, or whatever in a absurd use of a folder. Abuse ANYTHING, and it will fail you.

I appreciate it guys, Im surprised that I got back two good replies. I have done some searching around on the forum and seen a ton of negative comments and feedback about the knife. I have only had one CRKT knife it was a regular M-16 and It performed well for me. I agree that for the price its a great knife. I also have tons of benchmades, one of the original spyderco endura's(about 10yrs old), and an emerson. Well I appreciate the feedback it really helps.

Well I just received my M16-14SFA today and it's awesome. I love it so far. Very solid looking and feeling. Although very big its not nearly as heavy as I imagined it being. Great finish also. I love the fact that the knife is huge because I am a big guy and I have really big hands so its hard to find a knife that fits the hand just right. I remembered the other CRKT that I had it was a Carson 21, Great knife. I gave it to a buddy of mine who lost his in Iraq. But so far I highly suggest picking one of these up. Thanks for everything guys.

My liner lock maxed out to the right side a few days after I got it - the gap between the blad and handle on that side is almost big enough for the liner to fit in - I wrote CRKT, they're sending me new teflon washers to see if that fixes it, but now I think the problem is just that the ground the tang flat instead of at an angle, thus letting the liner go all the way across the tang. I love the rest of the knife, but the lock sucks. CRKT customer service seems to be pretty good though.
