Very recently, two CRKT M16's (i believe the Carbon Fibre and Tanto) got called back because it violated some knife laws. It originated in Toronto, and CRKT had to call all of them back. Anybody know why? I know it is very vague, i'll try to get more details later.

thanks!

Didn't the call back have something to do with how easily the knives opened? It was to similar to a switch blade or something like that cause of the spring. I Dunno haha I don't anything

I don't remember whatever whoever told me except the part about that is probably just a bunch of bs and that someone is on a power trip and just flexing their muscles...

at first i thought it might have had something to do with that, but why didn't they call back the entire line of M16's then? they only called back the M16-12Z (zytel) and the M16-11F (carbon fibre), but there's also the M16 Spear and Tanto, i think... anyway, not too many people seem to know about this post, so maybe i'll have to find out elsewhere
