Ok, I got a new CRKT M21-14SF. I like this knife alot. It works and is really easy to use. My problem is, I cannot figure out how to reassemble this knife. I have it broke down all the way. I think its the Autolawks thats confusing me, I am used to the regular LAWK system and cant figure out how to get this tention spring to work again. If anyone has ANY ideas or pictures. Anything that may help please feel free to add. Sorry in advance if this is a bonehead question but the knife did come with no manual and i cant find any information on the internet on the autolawks system or this specific model. I am quite upset because this is my EDC knife as of the past few days and I took it down to clean it and re-lube it. This knife comes in handy at my work but I guess I am out of a knife, Atleast for today anyway.

Thanks again in advance,

Jay

P.S. Not sure if this is the right forum to post in as i didnt see a CRKT sub forum. Sorry if I am in the wrong place.

If anyone wants i can try and take some pictures later in the day of the knife disassembled.

Yeah, I have that illusion. It doesn't seem to help much. I have my knife completely broken down so its a bit difficult to see where this part fits in the knife.

I broke mine down too, and it should be pretty easy to put back together. The hard part is setting the spring up. I haven't recently broken it down, so I don't remember anything really specific. Can you post some pics?

Ok I finally got mine done, Its a pain but once figured out it gets easier. The problem is keeping the spring inline long enough to get the liner lock on so the spring doesn't pop out. If someone has pics of this it'd be nice, For future references. Thanks all for the help. Please keep thread open for references.

Ah yes it is, Thanks for your concern. It was abit difficult as the CRKT does not come with a manual and the Autolawks is pretty new so I couldn't find much information or reviews on it. Luckily after thinking it threw and messing around I finally got it.

while disassembling my M16 13z for cleaning, i actually lost the auto lawks spring. found it about 2 or 3 weeks later and put it in carefully no problem being sure not to loose it for another couple of weeks. glad u got it figured out.

I miss the old system i have on my M16-03 (non zytel). It was just a simple extra for if you wanted to use it. Tried that auto crap, i dislike it. And, the AO, i could deploy just as fast as my M16-03 without the AO. But, i'm glad you like your knife and you got it back together, thats all that counts!

Ahh yes, I thought about getting the M16. Its a great knife for a great price. The Autolawks is nice but its not 100% necessary. I do find it reassuring to me though. Its just a pain to put back together as that spring doesn't like to stay in there.
