Well I’ve had a CRKT M21-12G for a number of years. I loved it. It’s been a main work knife for a while. I dropped it at work and it fell down a flight of stairs.
Now it will open and close. But it doesn’t flick fully open. It’s pretty much full manual now. Even a hard click of the blade gets about half way open. When I open it fully it WILL lock securely. So it “works” I guess. But working HVAC often in tight spaces an assisted opening really helps. At least one I don’t have to work or really throw my wrist to open.
I’ve taken it apart and cleaned everything. And reassembled it. I’m not sure what happened. Will probably order a new one. Currently a Kershaw Iridium is taking its place. But I miss the CRKT easily my favorite serrations.
Anyway. Any one have a similar issue? Any recommendations?
