CRKT Mah Eraser?

Last year I picked up a CRKT Mah Eraser for around 50$. The thing is pretty big and as much as I like it I am a small person, with small hands and a knife this big really doesn't make for a great EDC piece for me. So I was thinking about selling it and replacing it with something smaller. Except when I was doing a price check to see what these things were going for, I cant seem to find the version I have for sale anywhere. (The only place is on Ebay for about 2x what I paid for it)

So now i'm wondering if I accidentally stepped on a gold mine with this knife. Does anyone know if this knife is in high demand or something post production? It seems like it was never that popular before it was discontinued- do I have something that wasn't appreciated until after production of it ended, or is it only valuable now because stocks of them have run out?

The Black serrated version is still pretty common at under 50$ but non serrated version seems to fallen out of existence in a very short amount of time.

Lol. For me the handle was way to small. I modified it and after removing the lawks thing it's better centered and the smoothest flipper I have. Works in any orientation without any wrist flick.
I can see how it could cost more however there are nearly identical knives from Kizer. In fact they have better steel and a little cutout which makes pressing down the lock child's play compared to the original. But again their handle is smallish too, for me.

I have the same Mah Eraser you have and although its a neat blade, Jens Schuetz is correct that the modified Wharnie/bolstered style is currently being done in a couple of Kizer models at much better quality. Compared to some CRKT's from a few years ago however, the fit and finish on the Eraser is way better. The Eraser's awkward weight distribution (for me) mean it currently lives in a knife roll as part of the collection, but it does demonstrate that CRKT has upped its game of late.

I find it hard to believe that any production CRKT would appreciate significantly in value...even the "2014 Knife of the Year" Hi Jinx hasn't gone up in value. I picked up one of the limited Burnley Squids that BladeHQ offered, and although they sold out in a matter of a few days, they've sold on the exchange for within a few dollars of original retail.
