I picked one up yesterday and am really beggining to think highly of this knife. This thing is built to last. Feels good in the hand. Cuts fairly well(will need to be resharpened to MY tastes). In general a nice mid sized knife. One of the coolest features is the one handed opening mech. Instead of a disc, stud, hole etc., The top part of the blade is milled out alot like a "bloodgroove" on some knives. Not a bad buy either. I bought this at full retail from Chesapeak Knife and Tool for $65.00 and fell it's worth that. So, you know you'll be able to pick it up for much cheaper from one of the 'net dealers. Will post more later after I have had a chance to get to know this knife better.:D

I'm really giving serious thought on getting the Prowler. I really want the CRKT/Crawford Falcon, but I don't think they're out yet.

I too have been considering the Prowler as my next knife purchase. I like the handle design, blade shape and the opening groove.I just wish CRKT had used AUS 8 for the blade steel.

Anyone have an update on when that CRKT Prowler will be out? Wanted to get one for my brother...thanks!

Those are pretty nice. I'd forgotten about him.

I saw and handled a Prowler a few days ago. I thought it was OK, but nothing to write home about.
