The larger My Tighe looks interesting. I may try it out myself. Give it a chance, use it and then report your impressions of it. I'd be interested to hear your opinion of it.

If you like keep it, if not sell it.

The only opinion that matters to me about my knives is my own.

I respect others judgements, but at the end of the day, its my $$$.

I've got the My Tighe assisted opener. It's very nice. I got it when I was on a quest to try out all the cheaper frame locks. This is definitely one of the better ones. I don't think the edge holding is anything spectacular but I haven't used it hard.

Yeah, CRKT takes a lot of hits (and rightly so) for the quality of their materials and construction, but nobody is saying they haven't made good knives.
Their Ringed Razel is the most used knife in my EDC rotation.
The Carson series knives were brilliant, especially the M16EDC; the black spearpoint model is the oldest knife I own.
The Tighe series I have never actually owned, but I've heard they are highly lauded. Even in my Chris Reeve phase, I wouldn't turn my nose up at them.
Good score.

I have the full size my tighe, and let me tell you, it gets tons of time in my edc rotations. Now some may absolutely hate crkt for their materials and construction but on the my tighe they did something right. I love the assisted opening, mine swings out fast, and the lockup on this bad boy is nice and tight. I also really enjoy the overall look, allthough I could have gone for a pe blade in all black. My only other comment would have to do with the steel. It says online that it is 1.4116, not really sure what that is or how it compares to other steel. All I can say is that it doesnt give me the best edge retention ever but it gets the job done without rolling on me, which is always a plus.

I had a mini with the outburst, it was ok. I liked the overall feel and size. I just couldnt get over the fact that the handle would vibrate due to the outburst spring. Other than that I liked it

I have to admit when i first started to collect knives..i guess about 18 months ago..i bought a ton of crkt...i am going to sell a bunch,,some like the mirage i like for the look and its easy to carry..i have the drifter...which i like and the desert cruiser..but i do think a lot of the knives are made with cheap over priced materials....the mini tighe is a good carry size..i wish it had a safety like the kershaw knives....
