CRKT OBAKE Knife sheath question.

When placing the knife in the sheath, I have to push it in a bit to make it stay, causing a separation on the sheath-see picture. If I don't it just falls out. Is this normal? Will pushing it in like this eventually break the sheath? Thank you for your time.

As long as the sheath is holding the knife in securely it should be fine.

That doesn't look right.
I have one and it snaps into the sheath ( with a click sound) without separating the two haves.
The first knot in the handle wrap locks in behind the dimple on the sheath.

I have one, it doesn't spread the sheath apart as much as yours. Mine is contoured to grab only the first raised part of the cord wrap.

Yeah, mine doesnt do that either. It snaps in nicely.

Is that with the knife all the way in? If so, that doesn't seem right.
