I'm inquiring to find out if anyone is having any issues with accidently cutting themselves when the knife is in the closed position. It seems the blade is not recessed enough into the frame. I have on occasion cut my right index finger. I like everything about it but I really need to be aware of how I clip the knife into my pocket or deploying it. As you can see the blade is tip up carry. Welcoming any input, thanks !

Yeah it was happening to me too I just modified the tip a little if you don't feel comfortable doing that you could try contacting CRKT and seeing if they would be willing to exchange or fix your knife.

Hey you guys, I'd really love to hear some real world experience about this knife. How long have you used it, how is it holding up?

Like I said everything about the knife is great. Its not assisted opening like the Hissatsu but it does have L.A.W.K.S. feature. If you like a bigger blade this also fits the bill. I thought when I cut myself the first time it was a fluke but then it happened 3 more times so now I'm really carefull. Thanks Exile for your input at least I know I'm not the only one. I don't feel comfortable reprofiling the tip so I will just live with it. The handle does slightly flair out but I would suggest extending the spacer a little more to compensate for this issue. It would be easy for them to make a spacer replacement and the user will have an easy time changing the spacer out and there are only 2 screws to remove. Maybe someone from CRKT will see this thread.

Yeah if you don't feel comfortable I wouldn't attempt it, you could try contacting the website(or store you bought it from) or CRKT directly and seeing what they would be willing to do for you.
