Ok...my first impression of this knife was like WOW! To me it looks like a better made M16 and since I have always hated the M16 I was kind of pumped! So now...on to the blade. At first glance I loved the style of this blade...but when I actually went to test this knife out thats when I got a little discouraged. While I feel CRKT did a great job with the tip...it just won't cut through any kind of material with ease (Denim, cotton Etc etc). In order for it to pierce this kind of material you have to use ALOT of force...I mean ALOT!!! Theres is just no sharp edge to the flat ground edge on the knife. and I thought this style blade was defense style????!!!! Has anyone else had this problem and can this edge be sharpened?

That tip should pierce just about anything, but it wasn't designed to cut well...it's not really a bug, its a feature...

Steve, that's what I thought! I sat in a chair last night and tried plunging it through a pair of BDU's and nothing happened.
